It's fun picking out the tourists from the locals when I'm down in south FL in winter. It gets to maybe 55 for a couple of days and the locals are bundled up like eskimos, and us tourists are out in shorts and t-shirts, our blindingly white skin a sight to behold.

That cold front brought it down to a brisk 81 here, had to put on my winter shorts this morning.

I love winter. Too cold is something I can deal with. Hell, if it were solely up to me, I'd have my thermostat set at 50° year round.

It was in the 40's yesterday, and the kids and I went outside to play. We were out there for 2 hours, and I was very comfortable in a sweatshirt and jeans.

According to the forecast, we're dipping down into the sixties this week here in Vegas. Looks like it's about time for socks, and the casinos are starting to give away sweatshirts. Thank the gods the cars came with built in butt warmers.
