I would say pretty close in my opinion with the Padron on top. You just get a more even burn with Padron, and a far smoother smoke. I do enjoy the stronger spice notes provided by the Sindicato however, but that is just a personal preference in taste.

Not cheap. I bought two and I wanna say both were over $12...

Looks like more of a fiver purchase than a box. I don't mind paying for quality, though; I may have to hunt some down.
