Can't grab the link on my phone, but see this thread in the "All Cigar Discussion" forum: How to Freeze and the Science behind it. (It's in the stickies) A great many of us swear by freezing our cigars under all conditions. Posted via Mobile Device |

I don't freeze; I keep my wineador running at 66*F. When I get cigars in the mail in the heat, I just let them sit on the counter for about 1/2 hour or so to cool down then put them in the wineador.

I share this concern all summer. Those cigars sat in a UPS truck in 100* temps, or there abouts for a week? Maybe? Mailbox, then inside until I get them under control. If I'm traveling for work it may be close to a week more. While this always concerns me, I haven't had any issues, yet!

Yep - no question. Doesn't hurt a thing. Safe than sorry.

You anti beetles people, you. What is wrong with the nice popping sound of a beetle or two as you kick back and enjoy a cigar. Kind of reminds me of the seventies and the popping sound of other smoking materials.
