look, we're all happy for the storied probation ridden history of your program, but we're talking about 2009-2010 now, and Texas and going to "spank that ass"

You must mean *spank that ass*...if you don't know the asterisk is what Tejas will use to indicate that they think they should have whooped OUs ass, when in reality it is their ass that was handed to them. God Help Texas!

James... you know I love you brother... and I am as big of a college football fan as there is. I have bled Orange and Blue since the late 60's. The Gators have broken my heart and taken me to the heights of fan excitement. I have seen other teams and conferences dominate at our expense.

I respectfully say that no other conference can currently match the speed and athleticism of the SES. The last ten years or so the only failure of an SES team in the national arena was due to the *ss whipping that goes on every week in our conference. That is my opinion... YMMV!!

I have not heard of this SES conference Brent

JK. I lived in SEC land for many years, and still do. I will not argue that SEC is the best football conference...they have a ton of good teams and coaches. However, I do not always feel like they have the best team every year.

You sir are a good man! I also root for the Gators unless they are kicking Oklahomas ass, or beating up on poor Kentucky

James, you refered to the prestige ranking list, and while I agree with the rough top 10, look at the lower ranks on that chart and the discussion we had about it before:

50. Purdue: 210
65. Oklahoma State: 115
66. Virginia: 101
T-69. Kentucky: 86
T-69. Kansas: 86

Are they serious? this is a FOOTBALL ranking. Not Basketlame.

I know the list gets a little ridiculous. I was just posting it for fun. I agree it gets really weird past 20 or so.

The Sooners are probably going to be an offensive beast again. The only issue that hasn't been brought up is the O-line.

I hope to see Michigan do much better. They were cringe-worthy when watching them last season.

On the field? Not likely. But Charlottesville's a nice place to spend an autumn Saturday anyway.

Mike, you know I agree with you on this one, but for the sake of arguement allow me to elaborate... This is what you put on your field:

These girls aren't even cheerleaders, and they are way hotter:

It all depends on their first four games.
