Darrell was asking me what I thought about how SAMCRO might deal with Jax's knowing about Donna. The ads on the website show Jax saying to Clay, "Or what? You'll put a bullet in the back of MY head?"

Looks like they find some way to suppress it... at least to begin the season. You know it will have to boil over soon, though. They will be distracted by the white separatists initially, but it will have to fracture at some point.

They are making it sound like Opie will be siding with Clay - don't know if that is with or without the knowledge of what really happened with Donna.

They have some new videos up for Season 2 at the SOA website.

C'mon September 8th!

Yeah, initially the skin heads are going to be the center of attention. However, I think **** will hit the fan by the end of the season and they will leave us for a year waiting for season 3 to start.

Really? I must have missed something because I don't get that feeling at all. Opie and Jax are best buddies and Piney has to have told Opie what really went down.

Not sure Piney did tell him... Piney says to Jax, "I am depending on you to make this right." If Opie knew, he would probably just walk up and shoot Clay! Don't think Opie's character would let him wait and see what was going to unfold... would take matters into his own hands. I could see Piney and Jax protecting Opie from that.

Also, in one of the videos at the SOA site, they are talking about "shifting allegiances" in some surprising ways... then they have Opie saying (ostensibly) to Clay... "I'm with you, no matter what." (2:44 mark of the "Exclusive Season Preview") Even if Opie isn't siding with Clay, they seem to be wanting to hint at that possibility.

Kurt Sutter is a genius!

Ah...I was thinking that statement had to do with Jax's Dad.....now I see what it might really mean, Joe.

I think he was referring to Clay having Tig put a bullet in Donna's head thinking it was Opie. I do however think it could possibly be in reference to Jax's dad.

They have pretty well established that John Teller died several days after being hit by a truck. Now... he could be using the "bullet" in a generic sense - as if he was thinking about being taken out like we assume his father was...

But I don't think Jax has gone there yet... don't think he is questioning his dad's death - yet. Will probably happen by end of this season as a lead in to year 3. Sutter does make reference to the fact that Jax is "Hamlet" to Clay's "King Claudius."

I did find it interesting to find out that:
Quote:
According to an interview with Kurt Sutter, the pilot episode was entirely shot with actor Scott Glenn in the role of Clay Morrow. After deciding to go in a different direction with the character, the role was re-cast with Ron Perlman and Clay's scenes were re-shot.

Would LOVE to see how Scott Glenn interpreted the character of Clay. Don't get me wrong, though... I'm a big fan of Perlman!

Me too, but I would love to see others' interpretations of many roles. Like watching Buddy Ebsen at the Tin Man.
