Ok decided on pvc coated wire shelving for convience and cost! It also is easier to adjust. I have the main portion done just not sure what to do on the sides (the shelves were 6' and I really needed 8' and I could not even special order. Although I could have gone white 8', but whites not right
) I still need to add some supports on the back corners, damn studs did not line up right (wish I would have paid attention when I had the rock off) so the back corners are a bit droopy. All but 3 boxes you see are empty, just have them in there for humidity control! Well for the most part that wraps up this project besides a few odds and ends. And of course the main thing-----FILLING UP THE HUMI!!!!!!----

Looks great! I like the inexpensive shelving idea. Love the doors.
Now maybe over time you can replace the 6' wire shelves w/ 8' Spanish Cedar, maybe even one at a time. I would imagine that - within reason - the more cedar you added the easier it would become to stabilize the RH. |
