Roasted a pound, last night, of Coffee Project Colombian Select. Love me some Colombian in a Moka pot. Little half and half teaspoon of evaporated cane sugar. |

Old Brown Java... think a nice Sumatran that's been 'monsooned'... roasted to absolute perfection in about 4 minutes in a popper then made in a drip-filter. Dammit, I need a vacpot.

Under a big old rock! Been having a hectic time trying to make ends meet recently, but hopefully it's all a little more on track now... I see you've all managed quite well in my absence... I almost feel like a parent, proud that their teenage children haven't trashed the house too noticeably after leaving them at home to go on holiday. Anyway, enough of the mushy crap, here's some coffee... NSFS* *clicky* *Not Safe For Starbucks |

Just finished roasting a pound of Peru Organic Cautivo in the SCCO. Now for the hard part - waiting until tomorrow night to brew some.

Neighbors came back from Jamaica and gave me a bag of 100% Blue Mountain Coffee. Mellow, winey, and nice acid. Nothing special and never got what the big deal was. Wish they got me a bag of something else from Jamaica instead, lol...

Pulled the mini French Press out this week (it's maybe an 8 oz size?). Been making Vienna Roast for myself the last two days...
