Whenever I smoke with friends, there are 2 cigars they I hand out that have ALWAYS--I mean every time--received rave reviews:

I'm with Eric on the Perdomo ESV '91 (or seconds) ... amazingly yummy and every time I smoke one I can't help but feel like I ripped someone off with how cheap it was! Mild-medium-bodied and perfect for the beginner or the pro.

Tied for 1st would be the Padilla 1932. These used to be $10, now they are half that or less. Incredibly great cigars, and I also have that "I seriously STOLE these suckers!" feeling whenever I smoke one. This one is close to full-strength by the end, so I only give this to guys that really smoke cigars.

The PL Pan's have been even better than the PLPC's I have smoked. Every one of the PLPC's has shown some signs of sickness.
Hoyo Coronation tubos have also been fantastic.

Once again, Bob is 'da man. I agree with him but I think I like the Montecarlos better than the pans.

I smoked an '07 last night, and it as pretty good after wetting it.

For me, Partagas Shorts in a cab for less than $4 a stick.
