I used to do the same thing in my previous job. The only problem was on the days that the lawn care people came around to my neighbor's homes. I did not participate as much on those days.

I had quite the little setup so that my laptop display was shielded from the sun, etc. (it does help to be able to see the screen for a netmeeting )
