I don't really see the point of sharing the total monetary value of what I or anyone else smokes. It would only serve to segregate or alienate people.

The current value of the cigar or the value of what it cost me when I purchased? Pretty different!

Hey Scott, you liking these? A buddy of mine told me to grab some, said it was the best $1.00 stick he's had. This is a Patel blend right?

I got these from one of the brothers here in a trade, I wish I could remember who. My head's a bit soft right now. ![]() The first 1/3 was excellent. The second third was decent but needed some purging to keep it healthy. I didn't get to the last third because sofaman's old lady called and he had to scoot. Scott and I both loved it. He about peed himself when I told him it was a $1.00 stick. The construction and wrapper are gorgeous, it smells wonderful, tastes great and smokes flawlessly. The more I work my way through value sticks, the more exceptional cigars I find. Makes me feel simple when I smoke a $20 cigar. ![]() I have a handful of the Esteban Carrera Corojo's, too. Can't wait to try one. ![]() |

Those Esteban Carerras are an RP blend. I have burned through SEVERAL boxes of them. I love both wrappers but the maduro is my favorite. I just wish they weren't out of the Churchill maduro!!!

That sux, a friend of mine was saying they are like $1.25-$1.50 out here. Maybe I'll stock up on some. I'll save a few for ya if you like 'em.

Got a fiver off of c-bid. Smoked one OTT and it was God-awful. revisited one this past week, and thought it was a great el cheapo. Will have to buy more. Fiver cost me $7.00 on C-bid.

The trick there is snacking on neutral things (I like peanut butter and crackers) and drinking plenty of water in between smokes, and also making sure you don't smoke two similar sticks back to back. All of those were ordered (not in my list, but during the day) so that they alternated flavors, profiles, and strength so that I could enjoy each one. To be honest, I smoke that many a day normally, but it wasn't always that way. It's all part of the job, having a lit cigar on me at all times, but I didn't start that way...my early days 2-3 were PLENTY. Past that, I would get sick. These days, I can tolerate quite a bit more, so I smoke a bit more. Also I learned as I smoked and got to know more cigars, which ones I could alternate between to keep myself for getting a burnout experience. To every man his own for sure. I only smoke that many because it's the job. Otherwise I'd still be on 2-3 a day on average, and I certainly wouldn't have access to so many higher dollar sticks to smoke freely like that. It's a plus of the job, not my personal way of life.
