vacuum coffee makers?

I love my vac pot. I like it better than French press it seems more elegant.

When I was a teenager, my uncle worked as a coffee distributor for restaurants. He always used a vacuum pot (glass pot with stainless top) at home. His coffee was awesome and helped to hook me on coffee as my favorite hot beverage at an early age.

I've been thinking of getting one, but I can't decide on that or a french press.

Both? The press is cheap enough.... just haven't had the gusto to buy one to replace my last that broke...
