Hello, newbie here/first pipe purchase

Hello, I've been lurking this forum for the last month or so since I first tried pipe tobacco. I've been smokin/collecting cigars for the last few years and it looks as if i've fallen down yet another slope

Well after using the cob for about a month, I decided to buy a briar. I pulled the trigger on this Stanwell on Ebay. Its old but unused and I love the look.

Spectacular New Unsmoked Stanwell Royal Rouge 63M - eBay (item 160450908518 end time Jul-11-10 18:308 PDT)

Anyone own a pipe like this? Any thoughts?

Looks good - it's hard to go wrong with a stanwell. The military mount is useful too.
