| I'm nuts for the place | My kid is a bass fan already.

So, I was installing a new amp, messing with settings, running back and forth between the driver's seat and the trunk to listen. I was back at the trunk, and peek around the corner to see my 2 year old son, Alex. So I grabbed my video camera from inside, and took a video. DISCLAIMER: I normally do not listen to this type of music. It's bass heavy, so I use it to set things properly. A lot of the videos where people are showing off their subs, they are playing this song. I got a kick out of it, so figured I'd share http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24CV3bFIHpI

Directed d2400. It's running at a 2 ohm load right now. New sub will be a DC level4 or level4 xl dual 2 ohm, obviously wired to 1 ohm. Right now it's rated at 800 wrms. The 1 ohm load will up that to 1200 wrms.

Thanks man. I've played piano since I was 2, and have played guitar for about 12 years now. I've been teaching him both, as I have a piano in the living room. He's still a long ways away from learning guitar, but he has a lot of fun trying:

Definitely looking mesmerized when he makes his way to the sub! Great pics Brother. When he gets over bring him over to the studio for a little father/son craziness!

lol. Guess "bass" can be taken a few different ways! Speaking of, A few buddies an I were camping on a nice lake out in the middle of nowhere a couple weekends ago. One of the guys threw a cast out from knee deep water, and caught this smallmouth (sorry for pic whoring lol):

Well, he's almost 3. But he is big for his age. He was over 36" tall at 2. Thanks for the compliment!

Not really. I bought the sub because it was on sale at the time (think I paid 127 for it). That was quite a while ago. The amp I got for a freaking steal (165 shipped). That amp retailed for over 700 new. So it was really just stuff that fell into my lap more than anything. Currently in the market for a sub, as I'm selling the sub/box that's in my trunk right now. Can the D9 handle 1200 watts continuous?
