Passed on this as my mother has these and they don't work worth of $h!t. IMO a cotton towel would pick up more than these things. I actually spilled a bottle of water on my carpet and attempted to pick up the spill with the Sham-wow. Yes, it did pick up some of the water but the carpet was still soaking wet. Used a cotton towel and paper towels and those did much better. IMO Sham-wow = Shameless

I received some free Sham wows from the state fair a few years back. I threw them away b/c they sucked.
