Yup. He's using a piece of tobacco as the band so you can smoke it the whole way thru w/o having to remove anything (i.e. regular band).

Maybe true, but it still has got to be a kick ass cigar. So far, the monsters have been less than stellar, especially given the hype.

Sums up my feelings. I'm going to make a prediction though. This thread will fill up with hate talk, then Pete will post in here, and half of them will change their minds and become huge fans and suck up to Pete.... For the most part I have enjoyed the special release Tats. This one I will pass on though. The RG is just to large for my liking.

So many new releases what is a person to do. I though Rocky Patel was bad, I am thinking Tatuaje is out for the grand prize on different cigars they can offer.

That box is not the actual box. That was from teh S.T. Dupont booth.

The actual face boox is a rustic unfinished wood box with cuts and blood splatter.

Anyone else notice the Tat products from Dupont? Im guessing it will be somewhere in the $400-$500 neighborhood. Another expensive lighter without a case, no less.

If I had a spare $500 I'd be all over this. The cutter and lighter look awesome, and I'd love to be able get a box of the monster series on release, since I really wasn't into boutique cigars when the previous series were released.

The I think the cutter and the lighter are one piece, which makes it even more appealing to me. It's one of the Dupont Maxijet cutter/lighter combos.
