Another win last night and another slugfest...16-9. My Mets are putting some runs on the board without Wright/Davis. Two games over .500 and in third place.

I hope so after my Tigs giving up 30 runs in two games. Horrible. JV has been rediculous as of late. I guess that we've expected him to elevate his game to this level. In both of his no-hitters he was threw over 100 in the 9th inning. He has perfect form and he now has command of 4 pitches. I think perfecting his changup is what has helped him take that next step. It's pretty funny watching guys wave at a pitch that is still 5 ft in front of them. Of course you can't blame them; how do you adjust when he can go from 101 down to the mid-80s with the same arm motion & speed.
