Wanted a little treat after the first day of the bar exam, so I went to Castro's Back Room here in Concord, NH--great shop, by the way--and enjoyed an Anejo No. 48 and an E.P. Carrillo New Wave Connecticut Brillantes. Both were great cigars, but that EPC really impressed me. I don't normally like Connies, but tried this one because I had heard that it wasn't like the others... and it was true! This stick had so much flavor and, while it kept a tiny bit of the mustiness that I don't usually like in Connies, that mustiness was blended perfectly to go with the other flavors. I liked it better than the Anejo, and it was less than half the price!

Good ole Arturo Fuente 858 natural. From the first box of cigars I ever bought. They aged beautifully and I'm a little sad that there are only a few left.

It reminded me like a La Aroma de Cuba EE, but a tab bit stronger. Decent smoke for $4.50 |
