Doesn't sound like a bad deal to me, but since he already gets $16 mil/yr, do you think that's a low-ball offer? Might just be all the Mets can afford, especially if they are planning to make an offer to Dickey.

Supposedly with the option it'll be 8/138, surpassing Santana's deal by $.5MM to be the largest in franchise history.
Anyone else think this is actually a bargain for the Mets? |
