Mickey Redmond explained it last year (I think) when they switched to Reebok jerseys. It had to do with how much room was available after the Wings logo was stitched on. The CCM and Nike/Bauer jerseys had it on the left side. The Reebok jerseys are "tighter fitting".

Caught the end of a interview on ESPN2 this afternoon.
The discussion was why would the NHL Stanley Cup finals go head to head with the NBA finals?
Are there really many cross-over fans? I wouldn't walk across the street to watch a NBA game, even the finals..

What say you hockey fans.???

Great game, Wings had lots of chances to tie it up the last few shifts but the Pens D came through. Gotta love a Game 7 in the SCFs.

Oh yeah...... the NBA.

I was flipping channels after the game ended. Saw the Lackers game on. It was on my tv screen for about 3 seconds. Put on some cartoons for my son to watch. I believe I enjoyed watching the Cartoons much more than I would the basketball game.

Basketball is literally my least favorite sport. Funny both the best and worse sport to me were invented in Canada.

Not a basketball fan either. I did watch a very little bit of the Bulls since they made the playoffs, it was the first basketball I have watched in years.

I am a fan of all sports, I'll watch anything on TV or in person, doesn't matter what sport it is. I must say that the NBA finals I have less interest in except I really don't want the Lakers to win in basketball.

Side note: Ahbrody, Although invented by a canadian, I am pretty sure basketball was invented in America.

The concepts and origins of the game are creditied to Canada. You dont want the credit thats cool with us in the US. Normally you boys up there dont want to give us to much credit for anything.

I am neither from America Jr. nor do I support the Diet America claim that basketball is a canadian game.
