This is the reason I'll be on the front porch cleaning a shotgun the first time a boy comes over to the house.

I'll also take him out for a walk around the block explaining my expectations and should I find out that any of them are broken, I have ready-mix concrete in the garage ready to go and nobody would ever find his body in the pond.

You're f**ked.

Better keep a nice class 3 full auto and show everyone they bring home. That should do the trick

I have 2 and I made sure to cover my bases with a CWP though VA. allows for open carry...it helped weed out the undesirables

The way that I see it, you have nothing to explain to her. Adults do things that may seem strange to a child but that's the way that the world works.

I Have A 3 Year Old Grandson That Follows Me Everywhere & Wants To Do Every Thing I Do. I Explain To Him When He "Grows Up", He Can Decide If He Wants To Smoke Cigars, But Now He Is Too Young. He Understands! My Wife & Daughter Hate It, Though, When He Smells My Cigar & Says, "Ummm, That Smells So Good!"

I totally feel ya!!!!!

My daughter will be three in September. I don't smoke around her, but she knows mama smokes cigars. We really have not had any ?'s, just that is mama's cigars. Now the lighter is a totally different story!!!! I have to keep it HIDDEN! I generally smoke when I don't have her, because cigar smoke is so pungent and she likes snuggling!

I hope this helps!

I have to have talks with her about my SCOTCH being for adults way more often that the cigar situation. You would think that it taste bad to her, but she likes it. Definately my child

I have a 4yr old boy and a 2yr old girl. I smoke cigars, I drink and I brew beer. They ask questions and I answer honestly. When the 4yr old has asked to try the cigar I said "When you are 18 you can". When he asked me why I told him because his body has to be big like mine (at which he points and laughs at my belly) and that just like driving, the law saw you have to be a certain age or the police will come and get you. Would this conversation work with an older kid, probably not but I am just learning as I go. My parents drank and smoked cigars in front of me and I always understood that I couldn't until I was older.

By the way Remo, I haven't forgotten about you

At least we'll be together...wait, that didn't sound right. Especially in reference to prison

I don't have this problem with cigars, but I do with alcohol. I tell my kids when they notice that I'm mixing my drinks with an energy drink rather than alcohol.

That's what's funny, she sees me drink beer and chew but I guess I have been doing that since she was born, the cigar smoking is kinda new and just don't know how to go about it.

I feel bad that I have to fib to her about what I was doing in the yard but it's really not worth explaining or trying to explain to her. Anyone else have this situation or have dealt with it?
Very easy solution as evidenced by my then 3 yr old grandson.

I guess the left hand is probably motioning for a light? Right hand looks like it wants a glass of scotch. That's a smart kid, he's got a great future ahead of him.

That picture has a great story to go with it.
I went to my humi to get a cigar for my dad , my son, my son in law and me.
As I was pulling out the cigars and handing them out, he asks me "what about mine?"
So I handed him one and without hesitation, he jumped on the stool and put it in his mouth.
Luckily, I had my phone at quick reach and took this quick shot.

Hey Remo, I have a one year old girl and I keep my smoking away from her, for now and am not sure how we will broach the subject when she gets older.

As for beer, she is already having sips of dads beer when he is having some.

As for boys, as soon as she can walk we will be taking karate classes. That way I figure if some boy does go to far she can easily break his nose, and i don't have to worry.

My little 3yr old boy tells me to grab a cigar when we go out to play in the yard. I just tell him this is an adult activity.
