Whoops! I still remember when they beat us back in the mid 90's in the playoffs....all those dang rats that would be thrown on the ice and take forever to clean up!

We'll see, they have me pulling for them!

Don't like the Rangers, Flyers, or Devils...don't want to see Boston or Washington out of the east so yep....Go Panthers!

Don't count the Sens out yet, anything can happen in a Game 7.

The West is upside down!

And the East can end up that way too. Hockey is a fickle b*tch

Interesting to note that if the Capitals beat the Bruins tomorrow night, the last 4 Stanley Cup Champions (Boston, Chicago, Pittsburgh and Detroit) will all have been eliminated in the 1st round. Welcome to the NHL in the salary cap era.

Speaking of the rats, the NHL has now banned the team from selling them at the games

Can the Panthers give the rats away? Congrats to the Caps and their fans. It was a good series.

Not sure, but IF (big if) they make the finals, I'll buy some beforehand and bring them with me to a game.

Three Game 7's in the next 2 days...I love playoff hockey!

Rooting for the Capitals, Sens and Panthers. Don't expect any of the three of them to win, though.

I won't be heartbroken if the Caps lose, Paul....I just wanted the Bruins to wait until it could be a Hawks-Bruins Finals.

Took these photos of the new statues put up at the United Center to honor Stan Mikita and Bobby Hull:

One and done I called that early in the season just no fire power.
Got to blow it up to many scrap heap guys on the team.

I'm not a Caps fan in the least, but that Holtby is a stud!

You really think so? I thought he looked pretty shaky several times tonight.

They are still selling them at their practice rink, which is just over a mile away. Lke $6 apiece, I wouldn't throw more than 1 per series.

A third string goalie who gives up 12 goals in 7 games to the 2nd best offense in the NHL regular season? I vote "stud" as well, at least in Round 1.

His stats were stellar, no doubt! I was really just commenting on last night's game, not the series as a whole. The Caps played a great game in front of him, but I thought Holtby looked vulnerable last night.

The kid is going to get lit up like a christmas tree.
Yes he made a lot of saves 40 foot shots, bad angles no one in front of the net to pick up rebounds
The B's were flat and generated no offense and didn't bring the physical or skating game.
Very disappointed with the effort and the power play.
Congratulations to the Caps and their fans they wanted it more.
