I agree with tom. Exactly how I make up my mind too. Either I know the stick I'm going for, or I know a certain marca I'm going to smoke. It could even be as general as cc or nc. Or I just know I want to smoke a cigar, and start digging to see what I want.

Haven't done a hard count, but I hope I'm over 300. Been smoking way more than buying lately.

You know, what's funny is I know exactly what I"m going to smoke before I open my cabinet. Sometimes it happens on the drive home, other times I'll be working away and I'll think; "....yeah, a cigar sounds good. Which one? Hmm, well I could have one of these, or one of those..." and once I make my mind up, I'd done. When I get to the humi, the choice is usually made....

I open a cooler up then open another then return to the first then think about the humi , occasionally return to the coolers then remember something I picked up earlier at the B&M, look in the freezer and finally just choose something. Eventually it all boils down to the weather and my mood.

I typically send my butler into the humi. Have him spin around 3 times then reach out and grab the first stick he touches.

At least that is what I would do if I had hit the powerball

I put all my cigars on my app, rate my cigar. It has a feature to choose random. That us what I do normally. Other times, I'll find the oldest one in there or something I have been wanting to try.

Thanks for the responses guys, so no rhyme or reason, no routines, no rainman kinda way of doing it, so I will continue to go by my list in order.

I usually know what I am after before I open the cooler. Lately it has been siglo VI. This does create a problem, which is running out of the favored stick too quickly. I will sometimes go from the cooler to the humi if I am looking to switch it up or to make sure there is not a smoke that strikes a chord.
