Turns out a smoking buddy of mine can powdercoat at his company and he offered to powdercoat the doorhandle

LED lighting fixed and connected to the old light switch, so when I open de humidor, the light goes on, when I close the door, the light switches off.

Almost done. Door handle needs to be powdercoated and I am still looking for a paintbrusher to make it a piece of art, but this is what it looks like now

I still need to sort the top drawers and put brand by brand, size by size but you get the idea.
