It was mostly cloudy for the beginning of the eclipse. About 15 minutes before totality, a big blue hole appeared in the clouds over the ballpark. We got a perfect view. Amusingly, the players all laid down in the grass with their solar glasses on. Quite a sight in itself.

Didn't really notice anything in DC area. Got dark later when we had a thunderstorm, though......

Saw about 5 clear seconds of totality in Charleston. Clouds were light but numerous. Still very beautiful. Kids thought it was cool.
