Tonight will be my first bowl ever - Golden Cavendish - no idea what it is or what it's supposed to taste like. It was recommended by another patron in the B&M while I was buying my pipe, so I bought 2oz. I'm adventurous.
FWIW, it doesn't smell "good" to me. It's interesting. Smells nothing like a cigar. I'm half-tempted to grab a flake and chew on it to see what it tastes like (does anyone actually DO that???). Got some cleaners, a Czech tool, matches, and a fellow Gorilla to fire-up with tonight. Wish me luck. Oh, question - Pipe w/ Golden Cavendish first? Or cigar first? |

Rough day today... traveling on business... long day at work.
Warmed up the evening with a bowl of Lane's BCA in a cob. Looking at something stronger to put me to beddy-bye. That Bracken Flake is staring at me. Maybe I'll burn it in my Stanwell Nordic... |

Finished off a little left over local blend, Brigadoon, from Paul's in Portland...
now while waiting in the Vashon Isl ferry line for the next boat, having a bowl of McClelland 2015 in the Kirsten I keep in the Herf Bus. Excellent morning bowl after a wild night of partying and herfing on the island. Aaaaaaah... [blows smoke out the window, sun on the water, beautiful day on Puget Sound] Yummy.
