I have several bobkins and I use them all the time -- except that they are plastic, and if the cigar slides into the edge, the plastic melts and the cigar is ruined.

I have been looking for a good alternative, but have not found one that is available.

Not exactly what you are asking for, but Palio cutters designed to double as cigar rests.


Most any gillotine cutter can double as a cigar rest if you open one of the blades and set the cigar in the crevace between the body of the cutter and the grip on the blade.

Where does the ash fall into? Do you just rest that stand over the ashtray?

you can use the stand to rest your cigar over an ashtray.
