It rained over the weekend so it fudged up our riding plans. My buddy ended up staying a day extra just so we could go for a nice day ride. We did a little over two hundred miles yesterday and ended up going down to Helen, GA for lunch and a cold one. The high yesterday was seventy-five so it was perfect riding weather. Stopped at the top of some mountain for a scenic view. It was a great day.

Bump.
Anyone been riding lately or has the colder weather put the old two wheeler to rest for the season? Anyone got any new toys or accessories? |

Cold is no reason to stop riding
![]() I am looking for new winter gloves. Looks alone do not tell you how well they actually look. Would love to see some scientific reviews on motorcycle gloves. My old ones ride well, just not warm anough and the idea of heated ones seeems like a lot of hassle.

Nope. I have always been scared of them. However, my dad is about to buy an HD Heritage Softail Classic and I fell in love with a Superglide that the dealership had in pre-owned stock. I am sorta kinda kicking around the idea of taking the riding class to see how it goes.

A trick we use around here for winter proof hands are latex exam gloves under our winter gloves. Really help hold in the heat without the bulkiness of liners. I use them when I'd golf in the 20's.

It was 42* when I rolled out this morning - not to bad. Still using the chaps, the warm clothes will have to be broke out shortly though.

I hate reading this thread. After my injury a few years ago I have not been able to get on a bike. I have been looking at trikes. Has anyone here given the Can Am spyder a spin?

From what I understand - not a good match for a motorcycle rider. Hard to steer and kinda boring. Shoot Tbone on here a PM, he rides a goldwing trike and speak about them better than I can. He loves his.

I have ridden the spyder. It is a vary stable bike, was surprised by the handling. There is an optional touring setup for it. If a trike is all you can ride and dont want the big touring, I would ride the spyder.
