I just picked up a copy of Bourdains new book Medium Raw...if anyone has not read him yet, you are doing yourself a disservice.

+1 to all the Zimmern fans, too. He's great. I always marvel at how well he maintains his dignity and composure while eating scorpions and larva.

I grew up in restaurant kitchens and Kitchen Confidential is so brutally accurate to my experience that it was disturbing. I loved that book. I like his show a lot as well.

I agree. I did a lot of kitchen time and some of his stories were dead on. Especially the way he talks about waitrons.

I'm a big fan of the show. The guy seems genuine and I appreciate that.

Another fan here. Been watching his show since the begining as have a lot of people. After all Bourdain is nearly single handedly responsible for Travel Channel succeeding in the first place.

I really enjoy all the shows mentioned here but Anthony is my fav.

I've only read "Kitchen Confidential" so I can't compare it to anything else he's written. But i can say it's an excellent read.

Just finished reading it, and I agree completely. Fun read, great look into the "secret" society of how they cook.
