Just finished watching the new Star Trek movie!!! It ROCKED!!!
 This has something for everyone! If you are a big fan you'll love it especially references from past TV shows and movies. If you are not that into Star Trek you'll enjoy the action and story-line! I can see this turning a whole new generation on to Star Trek!!!

likewise, just got back from seeing it. This movie just saved the franchise. Superbly well done movie, and most importantly, NOT like any star trek you've ever seen before. It's a breath of new life for a series that was beginning to look a little stale. Solid writing, the audience was emotionally "hooked" into the movie from literally the first scene. Well done... very very well done. If you were on the fence, I highly recommend it. A word to the wise however, the camera is shaky in the battles, so sitting in the back would be advisable if you are the type of person that needs to.
