I never have a problem with Blockbuster. In fact, when I moved two years ago and totally misplaced 3 DVD's, they immediately sent out 3 more & didn't even charge me!

I love this feature and Netflix can't even compete because they have no retail outlets. Now, I'm sure Blockbuster may very well close their retail doors as it becomes less and less financially sensible for them but it's great being able to drop off a DVD I've ordered & received in the mail that I've either watched or something that I'm just not feeling and pick up a new DVD (at no cost) at the store. Immediately when they scan in the DVD I've dropped off, they send out another from my online queue so I'll likely get a 4th DVD (instead of my cap of 3) in a day. And I'll have a week to watch that DVD I picked up in the store down the street before I have to turn it back in.

Hope it wasn't the first 'Crash' with Roseanna Arquette & James Spader......oooooof. I had to watch that (uncomfortably) with my Dad in the theater. Yikes!

Been considering for some time, came across the thread week or so ago and decided yesterday to give NetFlix a test run. Pleasantly surprised to find they have quite a collection to choose from and you can also order DVD's pending their release. Being a PBS, and BBC whore, stoked to find a hugh selection local video stores do not offer. I am In!!. Can't wait.

NetFlix We usually have two movies and a series. Turnaround is usually about a day or two. Just finished the last season of the Wire.

BTW -- I thought that "Assassination of Jesse James" was an intriguing movie.

I like Netflix for the selection. I like a lot of older movies, and they have a great selection. Just got in Spencer's Mountain with Henry Fonda. One of my favorites.

I have been a member of Netflix for almost 5 years myself (Two more months to go) and I LOVE every minute of it. I watch a lot of movies when I have time and at one time had more rated/reviewed movies than their paid Movie Critic LOL.

I currently have 461 movies in my Queue (I watch a lot of foreign flicks, weird movies, as well as blockbusters) and the 4 that I got in today were Hancock, Tropic Thunder, HellBoy II and Harakiri.

Just completed Netflix trial phase and stoked, watched Momento last night, I don't get it. I would have given it a 1-2 rating, see where 99 % of previous viewers gave it a 4 plus, think I'll have to wait and consider watching the movie again, have to be missing something.

I have been a member of Netflix for a couple of years now and love it. Now I can stream movies through my X-box 360 at no additional charge (of course you have to maintain an x-box live account and be a member of Netflix...but I was both anyway). I really like this feature as before I would have to watch a streaming movie on my PC. Now I can watch them on my tv!! Very cool feature and with my plan I can watch an unlimited amount of instant movies!

It isn't a movie appreciated by the masses. I liked the reverse scene layout and trying to piece together the movie, a bit like a puzzle. Guy Pierce is one of my favorite actors, so that helped.

If you went into that movie wanting only to be entertained and not wanting to interact with the movie, then you'll be disappointed. It seems to be one of those movies that you either love or hate, no real in between.

Watched the movie when it first came out, seemed to recall it is quite a thriller with a couple of twist. Usually don't repeat but since it has been a couple years, and don't recall the ending, decided to check it out again and it is in the mail. Thanks for the headsup

I'm an on again and off again member. I did blockbusters in between. But when I saw that NetFlix was available for my Tivo, I switched back. Granted the 'on demand' selections for NetFlix is about 2 months behind the new rental releases, that is quite fine with me. I'm paying $8.99 now, Blockbusters was charging me $18.99.

With my busy schedule, I could never get to the Blockbuster's B&M to trade in my rental for more movies while I waited for the ones in the mail to come. Waste of money. Now I just queue my movies/shows up and watch from my pc or my tv.
