This morning I stopped by one of liquor stores I stop at because of their beer selection and they had just gotten in a new order of DFH Squall IPA. Pretty much cleaned them out.

Love me some Squall. Just got my hands on some as well. It was a good beer week. Got my ticket to the Buffalo Brewfest aug 5th as well as a bottle of Southern Tier Creme Brule stout, Lagunitas WTF, DFH Squall, Troges Dead Reconing porter, Ska brewing Decadent Imperial IPA, a 6er of Duck Rabbit Brown ale, and a 6er of Redhook Wit (already gone)

Got some work to do this weekend.

Went to a dinner @ Cigar City Brewing in Tampa last night for the release Marshall Zhukov's Imperial stout. The night consisted of a 5 course Russian dinner paired with different treatments of the Zhukov.
* Monsieur Zhukov's Biere de Stout (second runnings of Zhukov's fermented with a French saison yeast)
* Humidor Imperial Stout (Zhukov's aged on Spanish cedar)
* Hopped Up Johnnie (Zhukov's aged on Johnnie Walker Blue oak and dry-hopped with fresh Florida grown Cascade hops)
* Penultimate Push (Zhukov's aged on Mazzaro's roasted coffee beans)
* Final Push (Zhukov's aged on Kopi Luwak coffee beans)

I managed to come away with 4 bottles of Zhukov and growlers of 4 of the special beers

I think the stout with the Saison yeast, was my favorite. The final push was amazing as well.
