Just finished watching the latest episode. It was awesome!!
Nucky is becoming more complex w/some childhood stories and a demeaning father. Best work so far though is the treatment of the vets from "The Great War". They are doing an excellent job showing how out of place and psychologically impacted from the war the young vets were, making them the "Lost Generation". The Phantom of the Opera guy (Richard?) is BAD@SS!!!

The latest episode really was a cross-roads for a lot of characters. Nucky has to change how he does business for the first time by preparing to go to the mattress. Margaret now can not deny what Nucky does for a living. And Jimmy has to choose b/w Chicago and Atlantic City.
Thats two awesome episodes back to back ![]()

Now its story lines are developing. Its still the 1st year of
prohibition, i think it wasnt repealed till 1933, so 13 yrs. of Boardwalk would be neat. |

Boardwalk Empire Rocks, I missed the last Ep. Due to PCSing but cought back up as soon as i got to my mother in laws house. Can't belive she hasnt been watching it. Have to introduce her to Nookie Thompson. Great Show. The Prohibition did end in 1933, so i do too hope the show goes for 13 years.

13 years.....O_o That would be awesome but I dunno if a show can stay fresh for THAT long. I'd settle for 6-7 seasons. I'd rather the show go out when its on top then have some mediocre last few seasons.
Example being the Wire > Sopranos (last season of sopranos was just ...AWFUL) |
