Scan Code on the back of the 601 Blue

Anyone know what this is? I scanned it with an application on my Droid X called Tag and it sent me to some promo page that says that the page is just a test and that there are no current valid offers.

I've seen them but never have scanned them with my iPhone.

That is a QR or quick response code that are for smart phones and pretty much everywhere. I take it, that is a 3rd generation 601 label? I don't remember noticing them on the older labels.

Maybe soon they'll update the promo site that the code links to. Not sure exactly what they'd do from there though.

sometimes they will just take you to a product information page.
