Re: Bulging Discs in back?

I realize that there are lots of opinions and anecdotes about back pain, which usually means that nothing works predictably. You don't hear people disputing the usefulness of Insulin.
That said,...

Re: Bulging Discs in back?

Apologies for taking this so far off course. Back pain is miserable, I hope the OP gets relief sooner or later.

Re: Bulging Discs in back?

When you get there, ask one of your teachers what the term "relative risk" means, and how to apply it.
Please just let this go. I don't know what you do for a living, but I wouldn't presume to...

Re: Bulging Discs in back?

In answer to your questions:

No, I don't agree that "this potential recently being determined to be more pervasive than previously thought". By whom?

Your analogy is very far off. Thomas had a...

Re: Bulging Discs in back?

Agreed, surgery is the last resort.
I am a doctor with Worker's Compensation, and my brother is a rehab medicine doc. Both of us see back surgery failures.
My point about Derrick Thomas is this-...

Re: Bulging Discs in back?

The point about MRI's is right. If you're over 40 years old, you have a good chance of having back pain and degenerative disc disease on MRi. Whether the MRI changes are the cause of your pain is...

Re: Visa declined because of nationality

I don't know if this is their logic, but a couple of your assumptions are wrong. First, they have not "colluded in an illegal act" by selling cigars to a Canadian, any more than if we buy CD's,...

Re: Arturo Fuente Anejo No. 55

Thanks for the review. I just opened up my box and had one. Fantastic smoke. I agree with your thoughts. At $12, you paid a fair price as well.

Re: Padron 1926 #2 maduro

I love these. The 1926 series is expensive but consistently excellent.

Another vote for Cigar King. Huge inventory, good prices, and very accommodating staff.

Re: Anyone ever use Dragon Naturally Speaking

I've used it for years. My advice would be:

1) Get trained to use it. There are tricks that increase the accuracy a lot. Otherwise, it makes too many mistakes.
2) If you can, use it on a...

Re: Police Report "Egging" At Childress Residence

That's great.
Reminds me of what people said about Doug Williams, "the only man who could overthrow the Ayatollah".

Re: Aristocrat questions

Congratulations.
I think the Set and Forget is worth the money. The only maintenance is filling up the reservoir every 6 weeks or so. It is very consistent.
I also have a THC, and the peace of...

Re: Anyone else miss the days of pulling an all nighter studying?

I know so many people, me included, who have these dreams. Mine are usually that I have exams coming up in a few days, and I'm not prepared. I'm usually in my last year of school, and think I won't...

Re: Padron Family Reserve 44th Maduro

Great review.
I've only had one of these, I didn't find it as complex as you did. Interesting to see how or if these change over time.

Re: 1926 Padron 80 year Maduro

This is a fabulous cigar. The other remarkable thing about it is the construction and burn. I was smoking one on a Sunday night, and realized I had to fill up my car before the stations closed. I...
