Re: Top Albums of the 80s

Number of the Beast is probably the most universally recognizable (in the metal world, at least), but I feel that Piece of Mind is the strongest album they ever put out.

Oh, and the list is crap. ...

Re: What is your favorite OpusX vitola?

Power Ranger for me. The petite lancero makes for a nice smoke too.

Re: NUB

I like the Nubs as an easy way for new smokers to learn the differences between the wrapper leaves. I still enjoy the Habano and Maduro on occasion.

And I LOVE Famous Dave's. In fact, we haven't...

Re: Smoking and Music

I usually either read a book or watch Netflix while smoking, but I'll listen to some metal on Pandora or Rdio too.

Helloween is one of my favorite bands.

Re: Choosing a box for an upcoming baby

Congrats man! I'm in the same boat right now. Our first is due in July and I've been contemplating picking up a box of something to smoke on their birthday every year (as well as grabbing something...

Re: Bad Apple

Yeah, I think every cigar smoker has that one (or two) memory of getting way too much nicotine. I always make sure to smoke on a full stomach and have a sugary drink nearby just in case. In a pinch...

Re: You always remember your "first"..or do you?

My first cigar was a Gurkha Legend and it was horrible! I lit it using a BBQ lighter and got a lung full of overheated tobacco on the first puff. I've since gone back and revisited that cigar a...

Re: Carrying cheap smokes

Most of the time I smoke cigars I either do it at home or in a group of regular cigar smokers. I've handed out some nice stuff, but it's always to people who know what it is and appreciate it. ...

Re: Homebrewers - Whats in the fermeter?

I bottled my first brew (California-style Pale, probably end up similar to Sierra Nevada) on Saturday. Ended up yielding about 4.6 gallons, which is just slightly more than I anticipated. Yesterday...

Re: Is it just not worth smoking during winter?

I usually smoke quite a bit less during winter, but mostly because it's just not comfortable. Though lately I have been enjoying quite a few sticks sitting in the hot tub.

Re: Homebrewers - Whats in the fermeter?

Looking like I should get my bottles this week, so my first brew should get bottled this weekend. Then I'll be brewing a vanilla bourbon stout.

Re: I- Tunes onto a Driod

This is the problem the music industry is having with the digital format. They refuse to adapt to it. When you buy a product you should be able to use it however you see fit, but unfortunately they...

Re: Cigar International Customer Service

Their customer service is definitely top-notch, particularly when you consider they're one of the largest retailers in the industry. Glad they took care of you, although it would have been nice if...

Re: My wireless router died- what do I replace with?

I've used Linksys, Netgear, and D-Link and the one that held up the best for me was D-Link. I steer friends toward D-Link as well and we've all had good luck with them. Just as with any electronic...

Same here. I've heard a lot of good things about the Twist, but I've never had anything by them.

Re: 007 GoldenEye: Reloaded

I never liked any of the followups to the original Mario Kart. The racing portion of the N64 version wasn't too bad, but they have never recaptured the fun of the original Battle Mode. I have so...

Re: Man Of War Puro Authentico Maduro

Looking forward to this one more than the Diesel (not a fan of the 5 Vegas Classic, which is what High Primings is based on). The MOW PA is IMO the most complex of the CI house brands and I'm...

Re: Homebrewers - Whats in the fermeter?

Checked the gravity last night and I'm about 1.012 so it looks like fermentation is about done. I think another two weeks in the primary to let it clear a little and I'll bottle it. I tasted the...

Re: New Cigar: Diesel Crucible

I won't go out of my way to grab these if they're in too limited a supply (or if they're priced unreasonably), but if it's possible to just order a 5er without having to jump through a bunch of hoops...

Re: Off-gassing

I'll purge a cigar for about 10 seconds or so every time I knock the ash off. Works for me and I haven't noticed any benefit of using a flame, I think that's just theatrics.

Re: New Cigar: Diesel Crucible

I'd like to see the UC blend in a smaller RG, preferably a corona or corona gorda. They make a corona for one of CI's samplers, but it isn't available outside the sampler.

Re: TIM TEBOW .......... lol

Almost accidentally at times. It's a shame that Cam Newton set almost every rookie qb record in the league this season and he was overshadowed by a guy whose throwing is abysmal and manages to win...
