Default Re: how do you light up a cigar?

[quote=big a;549349]I think it is hard to say the "best way." There is a video of a guy lighting a cigar several different ways. I have tried them all such as lighting with matchs while taking puffs and not taking puffs. I have torched them and used soft flames. For me I like a 3 flame torch to get it started than i use a single flame torch to touch it up and or even it out if need be. I will look around and see if i can find the video.[/QUOT

Hope you can post the video would enjoy it. I mostly smoke 52++ RG stogies and that makes some difference in lighting. I use a micro torch and light the center area as I turn it. Then when heated up good I give it a puff out then take a puff or two. Afterwards I touch it up with the Ronson to smooth out the burn. Works pretty good that way for me. Lighting is half the fun!
