I think this is the first season ever that I haven't been excited about opening day. On the bright side, Reyes and the Marlins got beat yesterday in their brand new house!

Our ONLY off season acquisition, Andres Torres, is going on the DL after straining a calf chasing a ball on opening day. Looked like he "played" hurt after he couldn't get to it. Mets call up Nieuwenhuis to play center. Really??? After one game?? As far as I am concerned, Torres can stay on the DL.

Still in first place...Mets are 2-0 with a 4-2 victory over the Braves today. First series win of the season. Duda hits 2HRs and Wright hits a HR and goes 3-5.
