While you don't smoke the bands, they do make a statment about the cigar, and presentation is very important in this industry. You don't see many high end cigars with crappy looking bands. Opus X for example, the band is stunning. Padron Family Reserve, very elegant looking band.
The new 601's make it look like something that belongs in a $40 bundle, IMO. |

Those new bands look as lame as the "Patel Bros" band, another plain jane, cheap band.
Dont get me wrong, i dont buy a stick based on the band but it sure is nice to see quality workmanship go into it. One of my favoirtes is the San Cristobals band. Talk about classy and beautiful. |
