The wife and I just talked it over and decided to accept the sellers counter offer. It's not quite what we were hoping for, so our thinking is that if there are some issues on the inspection, we will be standing strong on the seller being accommodating.

Looks like we'll officially be in contract tomorrow. I won't lie, I'm excited.

As a person in the real estate business I can say without a doubt . . . there are ALWAYS inspection issues even on new construction homes. It's just a matter of how significant the issues are. Best of luck with your inspection and your purchase!
