			So I have been seasoning my humidor for about a 2 weeks with a small bowl of water in it with no cigars.   I have an electronic monitor in it and opened it up to check it and get ready to put some sticks in there.  My numbers are below, what do you think of the humitdity level??   Could this be this high since I am seasoning it still with the bowl of water in there??   How high is to high for humidity?  Should I put my cigars in waiting in there and then monitor it as it stabilizes?  Thanks!

			How long have you been seasoning it? At 72.5 degrees and 84% humidity...it is not ready for sticks yet. Sometimes takes up to a week to season. Be patient and give it some time brother.

			Another question is what size is your humidor? Are we talking a 50 or 100ct desktop or a mini tower?  
		
		
		
		
		
		
			Also if it's a small humi maybe 2 weeks was more than enough to season the humi. Make sure the hygro is calibrated and leave it in the humi for 24 hours without the bowl if water. If it still reads around 80 then open the humi for a few hours to air it out and then recheck. My guess is just over saturated. But you need a calibrated digital hygro to make sure.

			It's almost ready to go however, after you take everything out, let the rh come down into the low 70's naturally.  Then load it up.  You don't want to keep cigars above 70% or you have a serious risk of mold growth.  I am confident that most here prefer the rh between 60 and 65% under normal conditions.
