Check out these end of season numbers and you'll realize how frustrating this year was for a die hard Mets fan...

HR Leader: David Wright 14
RBI Leader: David Wright 61
Wins Leader: Dillon Gee 13
Saves Leader: Isringhausen 7

And Wright missed two months. Hard to believe we finished with 77 wins and fourth lace.

I said earlier that I'd not disparage Reyes for his "performance" in the last game of his season, but the above highlights why it all struck me the wrong way. It just reeked of "bogus".
