I just post random polls asking other people who don't know me, what I like or what mood I'm in to decide for me.

Like Bob, time often dictates size for what I choose. Besides that, it varies. Sometimes I go to the humi with a decision on a specific stick made, sometimes I go with a marca but not a vitola in mind, and sometimes I just open it up and look around until looks good.

I have maybe 100 sticks since I've cut way back. So, it's not really difficult to figure something out. I smoke mostly Perdomos, RP's, a few Hammer and Sickle Berlin Walls. Maybe a 5 Vegas A every now and then.

Man, I never go to the humidors without something in mind... Now walking away with that stick is a different story!

I generally know which way I'm leaning when I open the humi....and idea of whether I'm looking for a huge flavour hit, or something mild and short. Then I poke around, looking for something within that range that catches my eye.

I own a good number of sticks. Well over 300 but oddly enough I am like Rainman when it comes to my cigars and pretty much know what I have and where each stick is located all in my head. I will forget about a hidden gem or two from time to time but for the most part I know what I have. Most often I usually go into the cabinet or humis knowing what I am looking for while once in a blue moon I will just open one of the humis up and see what calls out to me.
