Best way to even the burn

If it canoes like a wet doob of homegrown, there's not much you can do besides touching up with some flame. If it's a minor uneven burn, smoke slowly with the "long" side down. That might sound counter-intuitive, as one would think that heat rises so you should have that part up, but that's not the case.

Exactly, put the unburned side down and it should even out a bit.

I usually am pretty quick with the lighter to correct an uneven burn. I know some people like to wait and let it "correct itself", but my OCD kicks in and I just even it up myself if I notice the burn getting funky.

Seems to work most of the time as well... Get little info i got when I started smoking..
