ok, so a couple of samples went out. I have had some good comments on the construction, draw, ash and overall appearance.
I will be making some more this week, I am looking for 2-3 more people to send samples to. Send me a PM if interested. Thanks. |

Andrew I will try to get my review to you this weekend but I am running out of time, if I can't make time for it tomorrow I will at one point this coming week! The stick looks great! Doing a great job so far, you make it look easy but I know it is not!

I consider this a fair review, as it will help me make changes to how I store the cigars after rolling, and amount of time needed to rest the cigar, this thread is a learning tool for me and I hope others can chime in to help with issues I am having.
Thanks a lot Blak Smyth Quote:

Andrew, I got the stick. I just got back from EPIC so give me a bit to let my palate recover. Once the stick sits in the humi a bit, i'll lite it up and post my thoughts.

Other than the burn issue in the review above I was really impressed with the flavors.
It was well beyond my expectations of what somebody could produce at home. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing this experience with all of us!

I start with the Dominican seco and ligero, and I add in dried Havana 7 and some of the darker richer fronto leaves. The mos important thing I have learned is that any filler that is used has to be as close to dry as possible, otherwise it will take a long while to even out. I am learning blending by doing small batches at a time. More ligero= stronger More seco= milder |

Sorry for the delay in my review. I haven't smoked a single cigar in three weeks even though I got back home this last Sunday. Life has been overly busy, but I'm hoping to get this review in Saturday or Sunday morning
