true story....
A few days after the Mets were eliminated from the playoffs (May 7th, 2011  ), New York Police retrieved a body out of Jamaica Bay. The male victim was wearing nothing but lady's underwear, pantyhose, high-heeled shoes, makeup and a Mets shirt.The cops started mocking the getup of the corpse. Then they noticed the dead man had a wedding ring on. The cops realized that this guy probably had a wife, maybe kids, and that it would hurt them to see their beloved dressed in such an embarrassing wardrobe. So they took off his Mets shirt.  it was on the internet so gotta be true!
