Both are good -- you can't go wrong with either one (or both).

I have both and use the Palio most of the time. I only use my Xi2 when I can't find the Palio. I occasionally use the Xikar V cutter for small RG cigars and MTX multi tool when I have the time and good lighting.

Bought my first Palio and Xikar about 8 or 9 years ago I think and I've cut maybe 12 cigars with the xikar.......thousands with the Palio

What he said. I've had both and preferred the Xi3 but there isn't anything wrong with the Palio. They are both great cutters. The Xikar X8 is another to look at... very nice cutter and a bit less expensive.
