Ditto this,,,I never take my car into Mexico even with extra insurance. You become a "target" because as everyone knows, Americans are all rich and carry loads of money in their vehicles. I have gotten some very good cigars in TJ at LCDH. If you can get further down into Mexico you can score some great Lobster Dinners in Puerto Nuevo,,good hotels and food and beach.

One (actually two) of the best lobster dinners I've ever had!!!

"dos langostas por favor, no frijoles o arroz, solamente las langostas"

They look at you funny, but for the money it was worth it to order two lobster dinners and just skip the beans & rice.

Definitely good eats! My wife and I used to go down there 3 to 4 times a year just for the lobster. It makes for a great weekend, but we haven't been in several years due to all of the turmoil and stuff down there.

You just made me hungry,,,I miss going there because of all the BS in Mexico nowdays,,,as soon as they loosen up I will be back!
