Enjoy that pipe! Fill it carefully taking care not to restrict airflow more than the slightest amount to avoid problems. All details spelled out here: http://groups.google.com/group/alt.s...d1b87db15204e0 Section 2.5 is most important to a proper fill, even light and a relatively carefree smoking experience. General questions mostly answered here: http://www.cigarasylum.com/vb/showthread.php?t=6366

Let me know what you think of the Luray Tavern. I've never smoked a pipe, but sitting in the Old Virginia lounge smoking a cigar with the regulars there last week i was really digging the aroma of the pipe tobaccos. I think I may give it a go one of these days. Thanks. |

That is a beautiful pipe. At my B&M I was one of the very few regulars to smoke a pipe in there a couple of years ago, now all the regulars are pipers and we now have a pipe club that meets a couple of times a week. Welcome to the cliff. |

You'll have to post what you think of it so far, Wu...I just started last week and so far it's interesting, frustrating, enjoyable, annoying, fun, and uses a lot of matches I figure a couple of more weeks and I'll decide what I really think! |
