Me too, Than, nothing to be ashamed of.

Saw him in 1988 at the Poplar Creek outdoor theater in Hoffman Estates...man, I miss that place. Saw Santana, Aerosmith, REO, Pat Benetar, Hall and Oates, Genesis, The Outlaws, ZZTop, and a boatload of other concerts there in the 80s.

Also saw EJ at the Allstate Arena in 2004...took my Dad and stepmom.

With the lack-luster rappers and R&B acts flooding the market, makes me wish I was more adultish back in those decades and able to get myself to see some of those great bands!

k..I'm not trying to start a flaming session of musical tastes, just saying I'd prefer to see groups of the 70s and 80s back when they were huge then to spend time and money to see T-Pain or Lil Wayne or T.I. etc...

Actually, if you are a fan of Philadelphia Soul, Hall and Oates had some decent tracks, Larry.

i hear ya, Tom. not particularly my cup of tea, though. man, i thought my taste in muzak ran the spectrum, but you really cover the whole schmoo, too...
