Hmmm, I didn't get much grass, but then again I didn't get much of anything except for the occasional sweet cream and charred wood flavor, which may be the sweet that Josh and I both tasted. I think the draw and burn issues really made it screwy though.
As far as being intimidated, don't be! I don't have a trained pallet whatsoever, so I just do my best to describe what I'm tasting. The rest is easy because its just a matter of documenting the details. |

![]() Also about the reviews, I'm not good at reviews. I just write down what I taste basically and document what I observe about the cigar. It's pretty basic. Heck, look at my review compared to ApexAZ's. That guy can write a good review. Mines just basic. |

What they smoked:
![]() 2011 Ramon Allones Allones Extra ApexAZ score: 10 smitty81 score: 5 Ha! I love these things. I put this in as a way to test my theory that NC smokers would like this cigar... hahaha. I smoked one today, in fact, to see how I felt about it. This mo fo was STRONG and definitely not my favorite cigar. I picked up a fair amount of them and fully intend on letting the rest of the boxes sleep for a long, long time. I think it is funny that these 2 have such differing views. If one likes it, the other hates it... and these were all side by side from the same box... ![]() Quick question... are either of you blowing the smoke out your nose? If not, try it. ![]() Last edited by DBall; 04-22-2012 at 07:47 PM. |
